I sailed at Hove this evening. 4.5m sail for the third session in a row!! Used smaller wave board and it was a very nice cross-on session with healthy lumps of water moving around. You could have ridden backside on the wave from half a mile out on the same wave all the way in. I was hunting out the frontside down the line, looking for the bigger ones (boom high +) to make a turn or four downwind. Very flat between the waves and clean and smooth on the wave faces. Gybes were a gift inside and out. Ramps everywhere with vertical faces. Only downside was the foul stench of Brighton's roads washing out to sea with the rainwater.
